I'm excited to share Echoes of the Vessel, a new personal project where I created a 3D environment inside Unreal Engine 5. My main goal was to model a classical circular temple and integrate it into a natural setting. The scene also includes props like spears and story-telling jars inspired by traditional Greek pottery.
This project was not only about building a scene, but also about exploring new workflows and techniques. I followed a full pipeline using Autodesk Maya for modeling, Substance Painter for texturing, and Unreal Engine 5 for rendering. Along the way, I experimented with creating my own alphas for the temple and jar details, as well as using photos to generate custom textures within Substance. I also focused on improving my rendering and post-processing skills to bring out even more detail in the final result.
This project has been a big step forward in both my artistic and technical development, and I’d love to hear your thoughts to keep improving!
