🦕 Stegosaurus – Realistic Creature WIP | Sculpting Study

This project is a work in progress focused on achieving a highly realistic dinosaur, exploring in depth the anatomy, structure, and skin detailing of a Stegosaurus.

The main goal is to develop a lifelike creature through a fully handcrafted process, refining the anatomical forms and surface micro-details. Special attention has been given to the precision of the alpha maps, ensuring that each scale and fold contributes naturally to the overall realism.

The current stage represents the ZBrush sculpting phase, where the model has been refined to capture believable muscle tension, organic flow, and the natural asymmetry of real living creatures. The intention is to make every angle feel cohesive and anatomically grounded, maintaining the sense of weight and presence this dinosaur would have had in motion.

Next steps will include retopology, bake preparation, texturing, rigging, and final rendering, evolving this sculpt into a production-ready creature suitable for video games or real-time cinematic environments.

This work is part of an ongoing personal study in realistic creature design for games, pushing both artistic craftsmanship and technical accuracy.
